An Odysea specialty coffee, El Cedral is grown on Finca El Cedral (El Cedral Farm) located in Jesús de Otoro, between the Opalaca and Montecillos coffee regions of southeastern Honduras. Finca El Cedral is a beautiful oasis complete with a fresh water spring. The coffee trees growing at Finca El Cedral are a Pareinema varietal of Honduran origin. Producer Reinel Funez uses the washed method to process these cherries, resulting in a fresh and lively cup of coffee with chocolate, peach, and berry flavor notes. At 1,680 meters above sea level, this small, family farm is managed by Odysea co-founder Francisco Galeano, Jr.’s great-uncle.
